PIERCING AGE RESTRICTIONS & IDENTIFICATION POLICY.

Age & I.D. Policy

At Jade Alexandra Collective, we have specific age restrictions for different piercings to ensure safety and compliance with legal standards:

Ear Lobes: 7+
Navel: 14+
Ear Cartilage (all other ear piercings): 14+
Facial and Oral (nose, lip, etc.): 16+
Nipple: 18+
Surface Piercings and Microdermal Anchors: 18+
Tongue: 18+
Intimate Piercings: 18+

Accepted Forms of I.D.

Valid I.D. is essential for all clients. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If you're unsure about the required documentation, please contact the studio in advance to clarify.

Minors will not be pierced without a parent or legal guardian physically present. Valid I.D. for both the child and the accompanying adult is required. No exceptions.

Accepted Forms of I.D. Include:

Passport
Driver’s License
Citizen Card
Any photo ID displaying the PASS hologram

For parents or guardians accompanying a minor, one of the above forms of I.D. is required to prove they have the legal right to give consent. If a minor does not have a passport, a birth certificate may be accepted, provided the details match those of the consenting parent or guardian.

Who Can Bring a Minor In?

Only a parent or legal guardian may bring a child in for a piercing — this is a legal requirement, not just studio policy.

We cannot accept consent from grandparents, siblings, aunties, uncles, family friends, stepparents without legal guardianship, or anyone else. Even a signed note or phone call from a parent will not suffice.

We understand this can sometimes be inconvenient, but these rules exist to protect your child’s safety and ensure we remain fully compliant with the law.
